Work-life balance remains a critical subject in understanding employee satisfaction, especially in labour-intensive industries such as banking. This study examined the influence of work-life balance on job satisfaction among employees of Keystone Bank operating within the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. Specifically, it assessed the effects of workload pressure and work-family conflict as proxies of work-life balance. A quantitative survey research design was adopted to guide the study. The entire population of 240 employees working across the Keystone Bank branches in AMAC was included using a census approach, thereby eliminating the need for sample determination. Structured questionnaires served as the instrument for data collection. Data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis with the support of SPSS version 27. Results revealed that work-family conflict had a statistically significant positive effect on job satisfaction, suggesting that when employees manage work and personal demands effectively, their job satisfaction improves. However, workload pressure did not significantly affect job satisfaction, implying that task load may not be the strongest factor in shaping how satisfied employees feel in their roles. The study concluded that addressing work-family interface is key to improving employee attitudes. It is recommended that Keystone Bank should strengthen family-supportive work practices, implement flexible scheduling arrangements, and invest in employee wellness strategies to enhance overall job satisfaction and workplace harmony.
